This year, Morrison Historical Society was gifted an old saddle. It was unclean, stiff, and dessicated. About the same time, the Editor and MHS Board Trustee began a search for a tin of Saddle Soap, to clean a pair of leather shoes. Grummert’s Hardware solved both problems and replenished the soft condition of saddle and shoes.

I thanked the Manager for carrying difficult-to-locate Saddle Soap. It was decades ago that I had used it. He added more useful, difficult-to-locate product and service information.
