Playing on the new artificially surfaced Softball facility, owned by the Sterling Golden Warriors, had to be a great experience for the Morrison Fillies, even though the outcome was a 14-4 defeat.
The resurfaced facility was aglow in the Tuesday, April 26, 2023, sunlight, as the Fillies challenged the Golden Warriors in one of the few matchups of the past seasons. A two-run home run by Bellah Duncan in the third inning closed the score to 3-2, but the Lady Warriors scored 11 in the next three innings, to seal the loss for Morrison.
