The Lincoln Highway became a Brownie Girl Scout marketing location for Troop 1372, as evidenced by BayLeigh, left, and Jerrica, who did their sidewalk sign shuffle to attract cookie customers.  The girls set up a table in the Frontier Communications parking lot at 124 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, on Saturday morning, March 23, 2013.

Ona Allison stated there are 11 second graders in the troop.  Today’s sellers included, left-to-right, Emma, Lizzie, BayLeigh, and Jerrica.

An exciting “Night in the Wild” overnight trip was the troop’s goal for their cookie profits.  On Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, they will visit Wildlife Prairie State Park in Peoria, IL.

The “drive through” feature made it convenient for customers to enter from Lincolnway and exit onto Knox Street.

“They are doing so [well] making change,” Allison said, after her daughter, Emma, quickly told me how much money I needed back from my purchase.

She added there are several luscious Girl Scout cookie varieties looking for homes.  Ask her about the special promotion of a five-pack to strengthen five Girl Scout skills.  She can be reached at 815-953-0737.
