Morrison Vacation Bible School would like to thank all the businesses that helped make it all happen. We have to thank Morrison Junior High for letting us use the building; Yarbrough’s for supplies; Kelsie Lowery, making the spaceship; William Patton, being our tech; DQ Grill & Chill, discounted Dilly Bars; McDonald’s, donating apple slices; 3M, donating tape; Joe Robbins, for everything he does to help us; Marketing by Moonlight, donating decals; Williams Branded Apparel, Inc., doing staff t-shirts; Danelle McNeece, helping with everything at MJH; Paula Rodriguez and Linda Temple, snack ladies; Morrison Ministers Council, paying for air conditioning; Don Jevne, letting us hang our promotion banner; all church helpers, volunteers, and persons who donated time, supplies, or donations.

We had a very successful week with 174 kids registered and great weather. The kids raised $1321.96 for “Give Hope 2 Kids.” This mission will help build a playground for orphan children in Honduras. Ben and Kelita Johnson and their family have moved there, to help with this mission.

We had 50 volunteers, and had our Jr. High School kids helped, also.

WE need to thank our committee who does all the planning, starting in January: Craig Sipes, Kathi Sipes, Lydia Ohlsen, Kellie Kohl, Lindsey Anderson, Allie Beals, Carole Patton, Brea Sharp, Michelle Goossens, Monica Anderson, Deb Zigler, and Jennie Gowan.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians for bringing the kids to this wonderful week full of God’s love!
