Clean cars raised money for the Morrison Friends Food Pantry, as well as other food pantries across the Nation. During the 2014 fifth annual, “Food Raiser” campaign, 141 Super Wash® car washes have raised $45,061, with checks sent to local food pantries. Many thanks to the participants who washed their vehicles.
For five years Super Wash, Inc., located at 707 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, has raised awareness for the need to fill food pantries during the summer months. Food needs rise with school children home on summer break.
According to the “Feeding America” organization, $1 provides nine meals. Super Wash, Inc. reports an cumulative total over the last five years of $261,131–equating to 2.3 million meals.
