Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, invited the public to attend the annual Girl Scout Sunday worship, on March 10, 2024. Pastor Sun-Ah Kang officiated the 9:00 a.m. service and message to Girl Scouts.
Prior to, and during, the worship service nine girls took various roles. They were
a. Greeters
b. Acolytes, Anna and Starlena
c. Liturgist, Sarah
d. Ushers, Finley and Taylor.
Troop Leader Hillary Blevins cited the girls’ numerous accomplishments, activities, and awards.
Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette Girl Scouts from Morrison Troop 1504 were present; there are 16 members. Left-to-right are Emmaline, Shay, Amelia, Anna, Starlena, Sarah, Cora, Finley, Taylor, Troop Leader Blevins, Pastor Kang.
Following the service, Girl Scout cookies and beverages were enjoyed in Fellowship Hall.
