Linda Lee Sinkus, 64, of Morrison, IL, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling, IL.
Linda was born March 23, 1959, in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Arnold and Carol (Bakener) Newcomer. She married Frank Sinkus on June 9, 2006, in Dixon. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2018. Linda enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time exploring with her friends. She never met a stranger, and her smile and laugh were contagious. Linda also had a great sense of humor, and she could appreciate a good practical joke! Most of all, Linda loved her family and spending time with her granddaughters.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (David) Little, of Tampico, IL; son, Andrew Bonjour, of Morrison; ister, Melodye (Christian) Pease, of New Baltimore, MI; nephews, Tony (Shantel) Newcomer, of Oregon, IL, Tim Chamberlain, and Larry Chamberlain; two beloved granddaughters, Irial and Alana.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Sinkus; brother, Arthur Newcomer.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A private Family Service will be held at a later date, with interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens of Dixon, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock River Hospice & Home.
