After eight successful years in Clinton, IA, Krumpets Bakery & Café is moving to a larger space in Fulton, IL. The new location, 1016 4th Street, is right in the heart of Fulton’s business district.
Krumpets’s last day in Clinton will be Saturday, July 13, 2013. We will serve a buffet from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Owner Renee Holmes stated, “We are sad to be leaving Clinton and our loyal customers. I want to thank everyone for supporting Krumpets. We will work every bit as hard in Fulton to produce great quality food in our new space.”
Marianne Biagi of Morrison, IL, stated, “Everybody’s a guest in her kitchen.” The staff is “really friendly.”
The new Fulton restaurant will have more space for an expanded bakery selection, a coffee bar, and a much larger dining room. Our menu will be enhanced by many new items and include all of our regular menu items.
Unexpected menu items currently include Eggs Benedict, bread pudding, clam chowder, and Tuscan tomato soup. There are daily specials, homemade pie, and handcrafted bakery items.
Renee adds, “We will be busy putting Krumpets back together in Fulton as quickly as possible. We hope to see you in Fulton by early September. Thank you again for all your support.”
