The seasonal home opener for the new head Softball Coach Kim Snider and the Morrison Fillies had to be played at Amboy High School, due to wet field conditions at the Morrison Sports Complex, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Jordan Eades limited the Lady Clippers to only six hits while striking out eight batters in securing the win 5-4. The Fillies offense was efficient in scoring five runs on only four hits, with timely RBIs being provided by Bayleigh Brewer (2), Kiyah Wolber (2), and Allie Anderson.
