The record has held at 5′ 9″ for 35 years by Jason Damhoff, who set it in 1989. No Morrison Junior High athlete was able to exceed that distance for three-and-a-half decades. Way to go, Lane!
Lane Decker jumped 5′ 11″ to set a new achievement goal! He is the son of Matt and Laurel Decker of Morrison.
