On Sunday April 2, 2017, Citizens First Bank employees presented a donation to representatives of the Gateway After Prom committee.

During the River Kings regular football season at Clinton High School, Citizens First Bank donated to the Gateway After Prom event for every first down made. This program, under the direction of local radio station KROS Radio, is called “Citizens First First Down.” A total of $865 was provided by Citizens First Bank to support a safe, after-prom event for local students.
Gateway After Prom aims to provide a fun-filled, safe evening of entertainment for prom attendees from Clinton High School, Camanche High School, Fulton High School, and Prince of Peace.
Organizer Jessica Winkel stated, “We have a lot of new entertainment this year! We are excited to have hypnotist Steve Daly, laser tag, and tons of games and prizes.”
