Historical Society Annual Meeting and Potluck

Morrison Historical Society Trustees will host the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 20, 2013, beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. with a potluck meal, in the Heritage Hall of Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.  Members and any interested persons are invited to attend the event and program. 

Christmas Eve at Bethesda Lutheran

Christmas Eve at St. Mary’s Catholic Church

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 13320 Garden Plain Road, Morrison, IL, will hold two Christmas Eve services on Monday, December 24, 2012:  5:30 p.m. and 12:00 midnight.  The Tuesday, December 25, Christmas morning service will be at 9:00 a.m.

Seahorses Compete at East Moline

On Sunday, November 4, 2012, the Seahorses traveled to the East Moline Municipal Pool to swim in the East Moline Age Group and Senior Short Course Fall Meet.  The swimmers had 23 top-6 finishes including seven first place finishes.  The Seahorse results follow.
