The Whiteside County Highway Department will reopen Lyndon Road beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010.  The area is approximately 4.5 miles north of U. S. Route 30 and 4.5 miles northeast of Morrison, IL.  The road had been closed for nearly three months to replace a three-span bridge and do related approach work.  The Highway Department thanks the traveling public for their patience and cooperation during the closure.
