The CGH Health Foundation and CGH Auxiliary have awarded $26,500 in Nursing and Healthcare scholarships, to 15 students pursuing careers in healthcare.
Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA), and residency within the CGH Medical Center service area.

• Edgar and Florence Hall Nursing Scholarship ($1000): Elly Jones, West Brooklyn
• Althea Larson Nursing Scholarship ($3000): Paetyn Adams, Rock Falls; Taylor Carlson, Dixon; Amanda Larry, Rock Falls
• Anne C. Marry Nursing Scholarship ($1000): Dylan Barron, Dixon; Maddison Full, Amboy; Cassidy Reese, Lanark; Alexandria Walters, Rock Falls
• Mary McCormick Nursing Scholarship ($1000): Cambell Buikema, Morrison; Molly Diaz, Sterling
• CGH Auxiliary Healthcare Scholarship ($1000): Addison Foster, Sterling
• Marrietta and Bill Lilly Healthcare Scholarship ($1000): Sarah Prowant, Lanark
• Gene and Lu Robbins Healthcare Scholarship ($2500): Sarah Prowant, Lanark
• Sterling Rock Falls Community Trust Healthcare Scholarship ($3,000): Isabel Allen, Walnut; Meghan Pettorini, Rock Falls
Since 2002, the Foundation’s scholarship program has helped local students pursue careers in Nursing, Social Work, Radiology, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and other healthcare fields.
Those interested in establishing a scholarship in honor of a loved one are encouraged to contact the CGH Health Foundation. New scholarship funds can be created annually or through a multi-year gift. Families may participate in the recipient selection process.
