At 9:00 a.m., volunteers are encouraged to meet near the equipment storage buildings, at Grove Hill Cemetery, E. High Street, Morrison, IL, on Friday, May 30, 2026.
“Morrison American Legion will be retrieving the flags placed on Veterans’ graves at Grove Hill Cemetery at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 30. We will NOT be picking up other flags (i.e., family, Fire Department, or other organizations), and we will NOT retrieve the markers [holders], since they stay there all year long.”
