The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating fully with the investigation.

The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Illinois State Police, Morrison Police Department, Morrison EMS, Morrison Fire Department, and OSF Life Flight.

This crash remains under investigation.  Additional information will be released as it becomes available and when appropriate to do so.

Sheriff John F. Booker extends his thoughts and prayers to the juvenile, the family, and all those involved in this terrible incident.
