The Morrison School District Board of Directors convened on Monday, February 24, 2025, with the new, Interim Superintendent, Shannon Baumann present. Baumann will fill the interim position for the second semester of the 2024-25 school year. He noted that interviews for the open High School Principal position will take place during March, with the final selection to be announced at the April Board meeting. Bumann presented a plaque representing the Northwest Regional Middle School Principal of the Year award, recently earned by Joe Robbins of Morrison Junior High.
Other Action included the following.
- The Board signed a petition asking the IHSA for more representation from the member schools, on the IHSA Board of Directors.
- Adaptation of the proposed 2025-2026 preschool program.
- Purchase of a new District vehicle (<$30,000) to be used for transportation of a Special Needs student.
