Rusty J. Roselieb, 67, of Prophetstown, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling, IL.

Rusty was born June 14, 1958, in Morrison, IL, the son of Ronald Dean and Shirley Marie (Oleson) Roselieb. He was educated in the Annawan School District and was a 1976 graduate of Annawan High School. On May 14, 1983, he married Deborah Uhler at Prophetstown United Methodist Church. Rusty spent much of his working life as a Machinist and Assembler at Penberthy in Prophetstown for 33 years, later working at Wahl Clipper in Sterling, for ten years. He was a dedicated member of the Coon Creek Jaycees for 25 years and later became involved with the Prophetstown Men’s Club, where he served as President for one year. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially fishing, and took pride in working with his hands, whether remodeling his home, woodworking, or keeping up his yard. Above all, Rusty valued time spent with his family and friends, which brought him his greatest happiness.
Survivors include his wife, Deb, of Prophetstown’; children, Joseph (Ketra) Roselieb of Macomb, IL, and Jessica (Scott) Wirsing of Prophetstown; six grandchildren, Annabelle, Amelia, and Norah Wirsing, and Aiden, Grace, and Braxton Roselieb; mother, Shirley Roselieb of Hooppole, IL; sisters, Lisa (Ted) Brants of Hooppole and Rhonda (Robert) Bohms of Morrison; mother-in-law, Patricia Uhler of Prophetstown; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his beloved dog, Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Roselieb; brother, Audie (Debra) Roselieb; father-in-law, Harvey Uhler, Jr; his adored dog Emma.
