The skies were grey, the winds blowing, but the excitement of gathering Easter Eggs by the youth wasn’t lessened. The numbers began to form around 1:30 p.m. in anticipation of the Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Resthave Nursing home in Morrison on Friday, April 18, 2025. The front lawns were marked off with areas for the 0-3 year old, 4-6 year old and all children over seven years old, and in each marked off area laid a huge assortment of multi-colored Easter Eggs filled with treats. When given the go-ahead signal, each age group attacked the eggs with Easter basket in hand in an attempt to amass their share of the gifts left by the Easter Bunny.
Following the hunt, entrants names were drawn to establish the winner of the Grand Prizes being offered. Bike winners were: Kingston Broughton and Dixie Delp and the trike winner was Ryken Bearn.
