Randy C. Swemline, 71, of Morrison, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, December 28, 2025, at La Bella of Morrison.
Randy was born March 30, 1954, in Clinton, IA, the son of Glenn and Dolores (Reckard) Swemline. He was educated in Fulton grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School. Randy was employed for many years at Bud’s Food Liner in Fulton and later worked for Collis, Inc. in Clinton, IA. He was a member of the former Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton and was involved with the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Clinton. Randy especially enjoyed his involvement with HAM radio, appreciating both the technical side and the sense of connection it provided, by talking to people from all over.
Survivors include his sister, Julie (Ray) Blasdell of Fulton; brother, Loren (Chris) Swemline of Rockford, IL; niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Swemline, and by his mother and stepfather, Dolores and Robert Daley.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL, with Ken Renkes officiating.
