She was a member of Bowling leagues in Milledgeville and Polo, attended ceramics classes in Milledgeville, and joined exercise groups. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially thrift shopping and garage sales, always delighted by the treasures she could discover. A talented and creative spirit, she mastered many crafts, including sewing, cake decorating, and painting, sharing her skills and creations with those she loved.
She spent countless hours supporting her children and grandchildren, faithfully coaching (Black Top Inn, Cheeseman’s Clay Equip) Softball, attending their sporting events, and school activities, offering encouragement and love from the sidelines. One of her proudest accomplishments was earning her Drafting degree from Sauk Valley College in 1996, a testament to her determination and lifelong commitment to learning.
She is survived by her husband William; children and grandchildren, Paige Hill of Rockford, IL, Shannan (Garrett) Roberts of Mt.
