The Illinois Corn Maze at Blue Goose Run, 14609 Blue Goose Road, Sterling, IL, is open for the 2014 season.  This year’s theme is “Mystery Maze V.”  This is the largest corn maze in Northwestern Illinois, where the public is invited to “Come out and lose someone!”  The last day is Sunday, November 2.

What does a corn maze look like from above?  Computer generated paths are “a-mazing” in their intricacy.  This one from France is a complex labyrinthe, but visitors to Blue Goose Run can stroll through the tall corn at leisure.
