Editor’s note: On Sunday, June 1, 2025, Tom Johnston of the Quad-City Times reported, “…Juniors Brady Anderson and Levi Milder…accounted for 55 of the team’s [60] points. First-year Coach Kevin Kilker stated in a text message, “A championship is always the goal. We have a small team, but pound-for-pound it was clear this is a special group of boys.” Milder set a school record, ripping off a 21.44 PR to win the 200 and take down Sammy Biggs’ former school mark of 21.6. Milder was also third in the100 (21.6.) Anderson won that open 100 with a season-best 10.74…and finished second in the 200 with a PR of21.67. Milder and Anderson teamed with Ryan Alvarado and Zach Milder for wins in the 4X100 (PR 42.16) and 4X200 relays. The 800 quartet clocked a 1:26:92 that was just .05 off of their Class 1A State record, set in Thursday’s [May 29] prelims. Sophomore Alvarado placed fifth in the long jump, with a best of 6.41m (21 feet, 0.25 inches.)”
