Get ready gardeners; it’s that time of year again for planting! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 17, 2025, when Morrison Garden Club will hold their Annual Plant Sale. It will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, at Odell Public Library, in the Community Room, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
A heads-up: the first hour of the sale tends to be extremely busy and gets rather crowded. Club members will do their best to keep the lines moving. Join us for a morning of plants, fun, and community spirit!
Our club relies heavily on donations from members and the community. We are accepting donations of potted perennials, succulents, trees, shrubs, vegetable and herb plants, house plants, planters, plant stands, garden tools, garden statuary, books and magazine, and pretty much anything “garden” related. While cleaning out your garage or shed, if you find something you do not want or use anymore, think of us!
Also, if you are splitting any plants, we would be more than happy to take them off your hands. The numbers of plant donations are down so far this year.
Items and plants can be dropped off at the Community Room west driveway entrance, on Friday, May 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Contact Sharon at 630-835-8373 or email her at sharonkmoore@myyahoo.com for a drop-off location or pick-up prior to May 16. Please label plants if you know what they are.
