Spring is here. It is time to dust off the garden gloves, sharpen the trowel, and breathe new life into your garden! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16, 2026, when Morrison Garden Club will hold their Annual Plant Sale. It will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, at Odell Public Library, in the Community Room, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
A heads-up: the first hour of the sale tends to be extremely busy and gets rather crowded. Club members will do their best to keep the lines moving. Join us for a morning of plants, fun, and community spirit.
As you plan beds and swap seeds, please remember our sale. MGC relies heavily on donations from members and the community. We happily accept potted perennials, succulents, trees, shrubs, seedlings, vegetable and herb plants, house plants, planters, plant stands, trellises, garden tools, decor, garden statuary, books and magazines–pretty much anything “garden” related. While cleaning out your garage or shed, if you find something you do not want or use anymore–think of us!
If you are splitting any plants, we would be happy to take them off your hands. If digging up plants is a challenge, a few Club volunteers will be available on select days to help dig an divide. Drop off your donated things at the Community Room west driveway entrance, on Friday, May 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
