Midweek Lenten Lunches, February 25 through March 25

Posted by

A Lenten luncheon is often a community-focused, midday meal, held during the 40 days of Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  Meals are traditionally simple, meat-free fare, like soup and bread to emphasize reflection, fellowship, and charity.

Pastor David Strable submitted this invitation.

With the Lenten season approaching, the Morrison Ministers’ Council morrisonmc.org is planning Midweek Lenten Lunches this year, preceded by a time of devotion and prayer, beginning at noon.

Listed below is the schedule and host churches.  Community members are invited.

February 25 – Kingdom Life, led by Pastor Steve Harmon
March 4 – First Presbyterian, led by Pastor Mike Selberg
March 11 – St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church LC-MS, led by Pastor David Strable
March 18 – Morrison United Methodist, led by Pastor Sun-Ah Kang
March 25 – Ebenezer Reformed, led by Pastor J.T. Bean.
