On Sunday, August 2, 2026, families are invited to a meet-and-greet event from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. “Floats & Votes” is designed to introduce Whiteside County Democratic candidates for office.
Root beer floats will be served, and children’s activities will be provided, at the City of Morrison Community Room, inside Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
Nicole Dopler and Nolan Kemp are running for House of Representative positions in Districts 73 and 74, respectively.
Whiteside County Board candidates include Jan Pels, Paula Schares, and Dr. Mark Woods.
