On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, student volunteers worked at  McDonald’s, 604 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.  They delivered food to customers and cleaned tables.

McDonald’s hosted a “Good Neighbor Night” opportunity, to support the School District Theater Department.  A donation of $500 was made.

The public supported the fundraiser, according to Music Boosters Treasurer Norma Nelson.  “Students arrived at 3:45” and began working.  “[McDonald’s] brought in extra staff to accommodate us.  The drive-through was extremely busy!  The lobby was full the majority of the time.”

At the end of their shift, McDonald’s personnel presented a generous check  to the school group.  The “Good Neighbor Night” donation will support musical productions, like the upcoming Greek mythology musical “Hadestown:  Teen Edition.”  It will be performed May 1-3.  The cast and chorus includes Senior and Junior High performers.

Celebrating a successful fundraising effort, left-to-right in front are Alice Richards (Persephone); McDonald’s Supervisor Sharice Neumann; Store Manager Suzanna Sanford; Alex Weston (Ensemble actor); Breña Cox (one of The Fates.)  In back are Hudsyn Finkle (Crew); McDonald’s Kitchen Department employee Adam Finkle; Coen Finkle (Ensemble actor); Max North (Orpheus); Music Boosters Treasurer Nelson; Music Educator Erin Morris.
