Morrison Garden Club will host its annual Plant Sale this year on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in the City of Morrison Community Room, located at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., and the sale ends at 1:00 p.m. We can’t do it without your help! Local area gardeners are invited to help make our sale successful, so we can continue to beautify Morrison. Donations are needed of perennial starts or cuttings from your gardens.
We accept donations of house plants, planters, plant stands, garden tools, garden statuary–pretty much anything gardening-related in new or good, used condition.
All potted plant donations can be dropped off near the west door entrance of the Community Room on Friday, May 17, between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Contact Sharon at 630-835-8373 or email her at sharonkmoore@myyahoo.com to arrange for a drop-off site. Club members can pick up your donations before May 17. Messages can be sent directly to our Facebook page, “Morrison Garden Club.”
All proceeds from the sale will be put back into our community, for our current and future projects. Please also contact us if you have any questions.
The Plant Sale day will kick-off to our annual Children’s Coloring Contest. Coloring pages will be available during the sale and then moved into the library for pickup. One age-appropriate, garden-related gift basket will be awarded to a child in each age group: 5 and under; 6-to-8; 9-to-10.
More information will be available in early May.
