On Monday, March 13, 2023, Morrison, IL, American Legion Post 328 celebrated Legionnaire Bob Brands’s 93rd birthday and The American Legion’s 104th birthday. Post Commander Larry Zuidema, left, presented a cake to Brands to commemorate both birthdays.
Brearton stated, “Even at 93, Bob is very active in the Post, to include performing at funerals, parades, and flag placements (just to mention a few), regardless of the weather.”
