Larry L. Sieh 87, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Allure of Sterling, in Sterling, IL.
Larry was born June 26, 1938, in Morrison, to Max C. and Amelia Caroline (Albers) Sieh. He was raised in Morrison and was a 1956 graduate of Morrison High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Larry was married to Jean Adams Wood, in Palm Springs, CA, and together they had two daughters. In 1986, he married Judith A. Ediger, in Palm Desert, CA. Following his military service, Larry served as a Police Officer and Ambulance Driver, in Palm Springs. He later worked in security, at Desert Hospital, in Palm Springs, before continuing his career as a Probation Officer, in Indio, CA. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1905, in Palm Springs. In later years, after returning to Morrison, he enjoyed the golf course and valued the friendships and time spent outdoors. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Sieh of Morrison; daughters, Tory (Joel) Klink of Twentynine Palms, CA, and Cynthia Niblo of La Quinta, CA; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Loreta) Sieh of San Antonio, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Katharine Marshall, Margaret Truedson, and Maxine Knox; brothers, William Sieh and Charles Sieh.
A memorial Vsitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Morrison Chapel of Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Ryan Sutton, Pastor of Roscoe Methodist Church, in Roscoe, IL, officiating.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery, in Morrison, IL.
