Judith Miranda Voss, age 80, of Prophetstown, IL, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling, IL.
Judith was born August 21, 1945, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Louis and Pearl (VanDyke) Hoak. She married Larry Voss on September 13, 1963, in Morrison. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2023. Judith was employed at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Prophetstown for many years. She enjoyed painting, drawing, working at the library, rescuing greyhounds, and playing with her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Paul) Rodriguez of Morrison; son, Chris (Amy) Voss of Dixon, IL; sister, Jessica (Allen) Wade of Sterling; eight grandchildren, Ryan (Katelynne) Rodriguez, Justin (Dannica) Rodriguez, Emma Voss, Elle Voss, Ella Voss, Calista Voss, Brett Voss, and Anna Imel; nine great-grandchildren, Olivia, Rylee, Romy, Violet, Stormy, Breslyn, Huxley, Korby, and Morse.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Nathaniel Voss; sister, Nancy Flikkema.
Cremation rites will be accorded. At this time, there are no services.
