Come enjoy a root beer float and meet some local Democratic candidates at “Floats and Vote.” This free, family event will beheld at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 1:00-to-3:00 p.m.
IL House of Representatives candidates Nicole Dopler and Nolan Kemp will be attend. Three Whiteside County Board candidates–Jan Pels, Paula Schares, and Dr. Mark Woods–also will be available to answer questions.
Guests can bid on Silent Auction items and purchase baked goods. Bring the family, as there will be a kids’ table with free books and music CDs. Adults can take home a freebie or two, as well.
