Daniel Forrest Brandon, 62, passed away peacefully at Winning Wheels, Prophetstown, IL, on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
Danny was born April 1, 1964, in Morrison, IL, to Robert and Margaret (Steiner) Brandon. He graduated from Morrison High School in 1982. Dan loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, bicycling and helping people and animals of all kinds. He was a voracious reader and loved telling (very bad) jokes.
Dan is survived by his parents; son, Abraham Forrest Brandon of West Warwick, RI; siblings, Theresa Brandon (David Darby) of Morrison and Huntley, IL, Linda Brandon (Jon Heusinkveld) of Morrison, R. Joe (Kristy) Brandon of Clarkston, Michigan. He leaves behind nieces, nephews, a great-niece, a great-nephew; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private Burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL.
There will be no Memorial Service, but feel free to take a long walk or bike ride and tell some bad jokes in Dan’s honor.
