The Morrison City Council convened on Monday, September 8, 2025, and received a Special Appreciation recognition from Kim Ewoldsen, for their contributions to the Sauk Valley Impact Program.  (SVCC’s earned-tuition program provides eligible students, who graduate within the Sauk district, the opportunity to earn tuition and fees for up to three years at SVCC, or until they earn their certificate or degree–whichever comes first.)  Ewoldsen noted that over 2000 students from Morrison School District have benefited from the Impact Program to date.  Over 50 percent of the MHS students have signed up for the program in 2025-26 school year.   The Mustang Endowment has a goal of $350,000, and to date $317,000 (70%) has be raised.

The Council approved the following actions with unanimous votes.
