“Bethesda Blaze” Relay For Life Team served substantial breakfasts from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at DQ Grill & Chill, 200 N. Sawyer Road, Morrison, IL.
Owners Bart and Ellen Smith are one of the group’s sustaining sponsors. “Ellen donated as much as she could buy: coffee, food, and eating utensils,” stated Amber Shepard. The Bethesda Blaze servers wore t-shirts in appreciation of their second sponsor, Thrivent Financial. The group donated $250, to purchase supplies for this breakfast and the one in March.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society-Relay For Life event, which is held in Whiteside County.
“Please mark your calendar and support this great cause,” stated Andrea Dalton, “during the second Bethesda Blaze breakfast, Saturday, March 3. We will be in the same place at the same time!” Choose from scrambled eggs, link sausage, pancakes, and biscuit with sausage gravy–or try them all.
