Editor’s note: Jamie Mosher and Kate Fisk organized a t-shirt sale after the Prophetstown, IL, Main Street fire on Monday, July 15, 2013. All proceeds will be given to the victims directly or added to the relief fund established at three Farmers National Banks. Shirts were distributed on Sunday, August 4, at the Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico Unit District #3 office and included the following note of appreciation. Morrison firefighters received t-shirts compliments of thecity1.com.
