“Up All Night” ER Fundraiser

Posted by

BloodPressureCuffMorrison Community Hospital Foundation is on a mission “to raise funds to provide an Emergency Department expansion, scheduled to break ground in Spring 2018.”  Morrison and surrounding Illinois communities place increasing demands for medical services, and they likely will continue to do so.

To make this endeavor enjoyable, “Up All Night,” a Prom ’80’s style gala, is planned for Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., at Vista Grande, 2141 16th Street N.W., Clinton, IA.

Purchase tickets and preview/bid on auction items at https://mchf.cbo.io or contact Mick Welding at 815-772-5510 or mwelding@mchstaff.com.  Please note:  Those who wish to place a bid on four Bears/Packers game tickets must do so by noon on Friday, November 3.  The game is Sunday, November 12.

Silent auction items are open for bidding online beginning Saturday, November 4.

Beginning at 5:30, move from station-to-station and enjoy the variety of food.  Lemonade, iced tea, and coffee are included, as well as unlimited soda from the bar.  Alcohol drinks will be handled in a cash bar.

The venue, Vista Grande, 2141 16th Street N.W., Clinton, IA, supplied the menu for the Foundation’s event.

If you choose, dress in prom attire or 1980’s style.  Be prepared for dancing at 7:00, with music from the “top-rated, number one, band in the Quad Cities, The Funktastic 5.”

Funds raised will allow MCH to

  • increase space to accommodate a triage area, trauma room, and waiting area
  • improve patient flow and compliance to privacy regulations
  • upgrade equipment
  • invest in new technologies
  • provide a state-of-the-art Emergency Department to help ensure rapid patient treatment, with an adequate number of private patient rooms, to accommodate higher volumes
  • redesign the entrance with an enclosed ambulance bay, to protect patients from the elements
  • enhance community programs such as CPR certification, disaster preparedness, and stroke screening.
