Morrison Tech is pleased to announce that Sculptor Charles Yost will speak at the college, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the Parkinson Auditorium. The location is 701 Portland Avenue, (IL Route 78) Morrison, IL. The event is open to the public. Visitors are always welcome to explore the college campus and take a self-guided tour of the outdoor gallery.
Yost is a native of Morrison, IL, who attended Monmouth College (Monmouth, IL,) and the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, IL. He also studied at Northern Illinois University where he pursued many forms and materials; bronze and aluminum casting, polyester resin, fiberglass, welded steel, stainless steel, and welded aluminum fabrications. Yost earned both a Master of Art and Master of Fine Arts degrees in sculpture.
Currently, Morrison Tech is the host for 15 works of art created by Yost.
