The Department of Fun and City of Morrison Waterworks Park Committee will kick off the 2025 opening of Morrison Winter Park, on Saturday, January 11. Hours are from noon to 8:00 p.m. at Waterworks Park hill. Ice skates will be available to rent. Adults, teens, and children are welcome to glide across the rink.
At 5:00, gather around a bonfire for hot cocoa, music, and a movie. The fire and propane warming stations will ease the cold.
In 2024, the Skate Park was open for only one weekend. Don’t miss the Opening event this weekend! Skate if you wish, or watch the fun.
The first Winter Park Party was December 27, 2022. After shoveling snow from the rink, these volunteers gathered at the deck used to step onto the ice.
