The temperature was in the lower 40’s with a brisk wind, but the bats were not chilled as the Morrison Fillies and Rockridge Lady Rockets combined for 24 hits in a 9-6 Fillies win on Friday April 12, 2013.
Freshman Lauren Pannier went the distance on the mound to extend the Fillies record to 6-2 on the weather shortened season.
Nine Fillies collected hits with Shannon Finneran collecting three and Chelsea Eads adding a double to the single’s barrage.
