Wilma J. (Schrader) Bush, 92, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Allure of Mt. Carroll, IL.
Wilma was born July 29, 1929, in Fulton, IL, to Onno and Lena (Barsema) Blink, Jr. She was a 1947 graduate of Fulton High School. On July 30, 1948, she married William L. Schrader in Fulton. He died on April 22, 1993. She later married Eugene Bush on October 17, 1998, in Morrison. He died on April 14, 2011. Wilma worked for several area restaurants and grocery stores, and later worked at General Electric in Morrison for 11 years. She enjoyed bowling and attended the Women’s National Bowling Association for many years. Wilma had been spending her winters in Texas since 1990. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, and also a member of the Chadwick, IL, American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
Survivors include four children, Donna Nye of Chadwick, Carol (Keith) Nylin of Clinton, IA, Terry (Teresa) Schrader of Riverdale, UT, and Diane (William) North; six grandchildren, Brenda Nye of Morrison, Elyse (Rebecca) Johnson-Nylin of Chicago, IL, Justin (Megan) Nylin of Clinton, Andrew (Natalie) Schrader and Jeremy Schrader of Utah, and Sterling North; three great-grandchildren; special friend, Harold Bonneur.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Schrader and Eugene Bush; son-in-law, James Nye; sister, Arlene Mitchell.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, IL, with Ken Renkes officiating.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL.
A memorial has been established.
