Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wiersema of Morrison, IL, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, January 27, 2018. They were honored by their family Sunday, January 28, after the morning service at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.
Ronald Wiersema and Louise McAtee were wed January 27, 1968, at United Methodist Church in Hamden, OH. They are the parents of two children.
Their daughter, Melissa, and her husband, Kevin R. Johnson, reside in Clinton, IA. They are the parents of four grown children, Brenton, Brittney, Logan, and Taylor.
Their son, Lance, married Lacey Seamer. They maintain homes in Sparta, WI, and Goose Lake, IA. They are the parents of three children, Jordan, Carter, and Cora.
The couple has one great-grandson, Ryne.
