The Whiteside County Fair is only three months away, and the Fair Board is all set with another impressive line up of entertainment! The Fair opens on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, and completes after five amazing days on Saturday, August 19. You won’t want to miss it. The 147th annual fair, held at the fairgrounds in Morrison, IL, has many exciting attractions and something for everyone.
Get ready for Street Corner Symphony on Wednesday night, August 16. Their vocal harmonies will wow the crowd. This contemporary a cappella group based out of Nashville, TN, was founded in 2010; competed in NBC’s all-vocal competition the Sing-Off; quickly won over the judges Ben Folds, Shawn Stockman, and Nicole Scherzinger, and–most importantly–millions of NBC primetime viewers. The group demonstrated their unique, laid-back-yet-dynamic style of a cappella. Since their success on the Sing-Off, Street Corner Symphony has made their mark on the music world, recording albums, providing clinics for schools, giving benefits for cancer, performing across the Country and around the world, and working with major artists including Ben Folds, Alison Krauss, and Take 6’s Claude McKnight.
On Thursday, August 17, Solution Action Sports will ride into the fairgrounds with an FMX Motorcycle show that will keep you on the edge of your seat. High flying FMX motorcycles will compete by performing various tricks in front of the grandstands to earn your support. They will be sure to amaze, as they perform their aerial acrobatics that leave you in awe!

Thank you for supporting the Whiteside County Fair. There is no doubt without your continued support, our fair would not remain as we have enjoyed over the years. It’s no secret with the budget cuts the State of Illinois has imposed, we need your help and support to keep our fair going strong. We wish to continue with this important part of our County’s heritage for years to come.
