Whiteside County 4-H’ers have been working throughout the year on their projects and will have them judged at the 4-H shows Friday, July 13, and Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds in Morrison, IL. Friday involved Cat, Poultry, and Rabbit shows and Foods and Sewing exhibits. Visiting children drew pictures on sidewalks as part of a “Chalk the 4-H Show.”
Saturday’s schedule is
- Ag Olympics, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Silent Auction 9:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m.
- Petting Zoo 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- General Projects Judging 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- 4-H Recognition and community Ice Cream Social.
A two-day Silent Auction will close Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
Next month, the Whiteside County Beef, Sheep, Goat, Swine, Horse, and Dairy project members will join the Carroll County 4-H animal shows, on August 6, 8, and 9, at the Milledgeville Fairgrounds. Come Support your local 4-H program. The schedule for 4-H shows in July and August follow:

- Wednesday, August 8, 8:30 a.m. Horse and Pony Judging at the 4-H Horse Arena (Rain date is Friday, August 11.)
