Thursday, June 17, 2021, was an idyllic, summer day. Gillian and Wren West seized the opportunity to create a Lemonade Stand fundraiser, at 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. Mother Kelly West stated, “It was 100% their idea. They raised $20!” The money they raised will benefit the future Bark Park.
This shaded location was ideal for greeting Main Street visitors, because the 100 block of E. Main Street has not been torn up yet.
It was located in front of The Loft on Main, a popular destination
More importantly, the sisters’ parents, Josh and Kelly West, own the building that houses The Loft on Main. Upstairs is their Airbnb rental, “H. A. Boyd Guest Room.”
