“Mike Green loved Morrison, Morrison athletics, and–most of all–the athletes that participated in games that he could only watch,” Jerry Lindsey, Morrison, IL, stated on the afternoon of Green’s passing, Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
“He kept the official scorebook for Morrison High School for almost 30 years. He was the man running the clock at Mustang football games. He traveled with the team to keep the books for all away basketball games. He assisted the Junior Tackle Coaches for years. He just loved being part of the team!”
“It would be a great tribute to Mike [as we] send him home, if everyone attending his funeral would wear Morrison apparel. He loved the ‘red and white’,” Lindsey added.
