Wanda L. Hemminger, 71, of rural Chadwick, IL, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, at home.
Born December 14, 1943, in Centralia, IL, she was a daughter of Elvin Earl and Lizzie Louise (Simer) Bass. She married Harold Hemminger on December 8, 1971, in Waupun, WI.
Survivors include her husband, Harold, of Chadwick; her daughters, Penny (Kendal) Helms, of Sterling, IL, Dana Sanders, of Rock Falls, IL, Brandy (Bruce) Darby, of Morrison, IL, and Becky Eagan, of Sterling; her sons, Walt (Annette) Swift, of Dixon, IL, and Matt (Mindy Milburn) Sanders, of Sterling; a sister, Rose Kane, of Dixon; a brother, Walter (Sally) Bass, of Galva, IL; several nieces and nephews; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Dalmus Meeks, officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
