The secret is out! Morrison, IL, has an art gallery, Loft 112, right on Main Street, which opened on Friday, December 15, 2017. Four weeks later, Loft 112 now has a total of 21 artists whose works are displayed for purchase, with more artists coming.
“It is an exciting time for not only us in the gallery, but also for this Community,” stated Kim Ewoldsen, Director of the Morrison Area Development Corporation.
Loft 112 is open on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help staff the gallery during the Friday and Saturday hours. Shifts are divided into three-hour slots, either in the morning or afternoon: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00.
