Visit Andresen Nature Center for Fall Fest

AndresenFallAndresen Nature Center, 409 N. 4th Street, celebrates Fall Festival on Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days, in Fulton, IL.  Park downtown and ride the shuttle to the Center entrance.

For youngsters and adults, entertaining activities await.

On Saturday at 11:00, Dave Harrison will discuss the “State of the Environment in Whiteside County.”  At 1:00 on both days, Kyle Kopf will share his “Lessons Learned from Raising 700 Monarchs.”

There will be

  • a bounce house and slide
  • pumpkin painting
  • Fulton High School Science Club paper airplane make-and-fly events
  • microscopic peeks at bees on computer
  • Fulton High School Robotics Club robotics demonstrations.

Next door, the Early American Crafters–Heritage Canyon historical interpreters–invite the public to enter 11 buildings, at 515 N. 4th Street from 10:00 a.m. from 4:00 p.m. both days.  Park downtown and ride the shuttle to the Canyon entrance.

The Bad Boys Traveling Summer Baseball Team food stand will sell walking tacos, sandwiches, chips, pop, and water.
